Couldn’t have been a more lovely day to wander around the DeCordova, and see the imaginative work of the 23 New England artists in this highly selective show. Nothing “same old” here. Experiencing the sculpture garden again was a renewed delight. Here’s some of what I enjoyed:

Yesterday/Today

So sad to say goodbye to my good buddy, the white Q5. We had a lot of great miles together. And excited to meet my new Ascent (more room for those in the second row). Oh, the places we’ll go, and the people we’ll meet!

Read about this on the DQ opening post, and sampled it last Sunday. Very yum! In the empty lot next to Rockland Trust and the Davisville lights. Open only weekends for now, but worth finding!

Hurray!!!

The French bakery, Maison Villatte, is OPEN! And the line’s not out the door yet…

Crazy, they didn’t publicize it, but within 5 minutes of opening, the place was buzzing! I’m having a peppermint mocha latte and almond croissant to celebrate the closing of my “flip” house in New Silver Beach. It’s a great Cape Cod day!
